Sturges partners with you to develop a high-quality final product. Whether you provide the strap design or opt for custom strap solutions, here’s how our industrial contract sewing process works:
- Determine Parameters: We will record your design parameters, including physical dimensions, performance requirements, compliance with industry standards, aesthetic qualities, cost expectations, and environmental conditions.
- Estimate Cost: We will then provide a cost estimate based on material choice, quantity, and estimated lead time.
- Production of Prototype: Prototype samples are produced, and compliance with design inputs is verified.
- Proposal Creation: Once the prototypes are approved, we will prepare a proposal for you supported by objective data.
- Production Documents are Created: Construction specifications, a detailed sewn assembly drawing with a materials list and performance requirements, a control plan showing all quality inspections in the production process, and testing procedures are recorded.
- Manufacturing Begins: Once production documents are reviewed and approved, custom sewing services begin, and the product is manufactured.
