UHMWPE Webbing

UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) webbing is some of the strongest webbing woven. Stronger, lighter, and thinner than webbing made from traditional fibers, UHMWPE webbings are popular for applications requiring high strength and low stretch, such as applications where corrosion is possible or expected.

With excellent resistance to mildew, UV damage, abrasion, and acids, alkalis, oil and gases, and heat-safe up to 300°F, UHMWPE webbing is excellent for a variety of rugged, outdoor applications:

  • Offshore Drilling: UHMWPE webbing holds up against the elements (acids, gasoline, UV rays), and also floats.
  • Transportation: Used in cargo nets to save on weight and fuel consumption.
  • Outdoor Climbing: UHMWPE webbing is compact and lightweight and doesn’t absorb water and freeze.

UHMWPE webbing is available in a variety of dimensions and colors.
