Testing & Product Verification

When specific performance is required, a formal test plan is followed.  Below is a sample of some of the testing performed in-house at Sturges.  In cases where there is no standard publicly available for reference, a test method will be developed internally or through the customer to verify performance.  Sturges Manufacturing is capable of tensile testing up to 30,000 lbs and performing Dynamic testing for free falls up to 25 feet using a wide assortment of calibrated test masses.
