Specialty Tear Webbing
Specialty tear webbing is tear webbing designed to meet your unique requirements.
Our patented specialty tear webbing is used in a variety of applications to reduce force during a controlled or unexpected fall. All designs have been custom developed based on customer inputs for controlled force and elongation, such as:
- Drop Distance
- Test Mass
- MAF (maximum arresting force)
- AAF (average arresting force)
- Maximum elongation
Specialty tear webbing is often used in SRL’s (self-retracting lifelines) to enhance overall product performance and can be used for specialty lanyards designed for very light or very heavy workers. Like all energy absorbing webbing products, performance is verified through dynamic testing in our test lab and SPC is used to validate lot-to-lot performance.
Specialty tear webbing is available in rolls or cut pieces.
Note that these are just a small sampling of products that we offer. Don’t see a product that will meet your requirements? Please contact us. We have been making custom solutions for over 100 years and would be more than happy to help you develop a product that meets your needs.
