Harness & Escape Webbing
In firefighting, harness and escape webbing plays a critical role in the safety and comfort of fire-fighters. Sturges Manufacturing works hand-in-hand with leading safety manufacturers and engineers to design custom harness and escape webbing for a variety of uses. Our harness and escape webbing is made from DuPont Kevlar® and Nomex® for maximum durability, fire-resistance, and comfort. In addition to being component recognized by UL, we test each production lot in-house per the NFPA 1983 for heat and flame resistance.
Harness and escape webbing can be aesthetically customized as well, adding reflective properties or colored fibers for visibility on harness webbings and woven labels for lot traceability on escape webbing.
